LibG

Privacy Policy

LibG has no accounts and no servers of its own. Almost everything it knows about you stays on your device.

Last updated 15 September 2026

The short version. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number. We do not know what you read, search for or highlight. We do not have a login, so there is no profile of you anywhere. The only information that leaves your device goes to the services listed below, and each one is named.

1. Who we are

LibG is an independently developed app. For anything in this policy, write to mohamedkhayi12@outlook.com.

2. Information we do not collect

3. What stays on your device

LibG saves the following locally, using your device's own storage. It is never uploaded to us:

Deleting the app deletes all of it.

4. Services LibG connects to

These are every network connection the app can make.

ServiceWhat is sentWhy
Project Gutenberg
gutenberg.org
Your search terms and the book you open. Your IP address, as with any website. To search the catalogue and download books.
Our settings file Nothing about you. The app downloads a small settings file and sends no data with the request. To let us change app settings without shipping an update.
RevenueCat
revenuecat.com
A random anonymous ID, your purchase receipt, device type and country. To know whether LibG Pro is active. The ID is not linked to your identity.
Apple
App Store
Handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. To process purchases and subscriptions.
Google AdMob
google.com
Advertising identifier, approximate region, and ad interactions — only if advertising is switched on and only if you allow tracking. To show adverts. See below.

5. Advertising

LibG includes Google's advertising library. Advertising is currently switched off and no adverts are shown, but we may enable it in a future release, so we declare it here rather than surprise you later.

If adverts are ever shown:

6. Purchases

LibG Pro is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple processes the payment and we never see your card details, billing address or Apple Account.

We use RevenueCat to check whether your purchase is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated on your device, along with the purchase receipt Apple issues. It is not connected to a name, an email address or anything else that identifies you.

7. Children

LibG is rated 13+ and is not directed at children under 13. The catalogue is open literature and can be searched freely, which means it may surface themes that are not suitable for young children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Your rights

Because LibG holds no personal data about you on any server, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request — all of it is already in your hands, and removing the app removes it.

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or California and want to exercise a right under the GDPR or the CCPA, write to mohamedkhayi12@outlook.com and we will answer within 30 days. We do not sell personal information, and we never have.

9. Data retention and security

We keep nothing, so there is nothing to retain. Data stored on your device is protected by your device's own encryption and passcode. Every connection LibG makes uses HTTPS.

10. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and note the change in the app's release notes. Continuing to use LibG after a change means you accept it.
